Accessing the oldest rainforest in the world requires great determination. Many travellers are disappointed by their inadvertent deflection to other destinations using variations of the name 'Daintree'. Indeed, for almost fifteen years, government policy has sought to re-direct tourism to alternative destinations in the Wet Tropics areas south of the Daintree River, primrily by re-naming other areas Daintree, or variations thereof.
For discerning travellers intent on getting to the only place on the planet where the two World Heritage Areas unite, the Daintree River must be crossed via the cable-driven ferry and the host community strongly recommends stays of at least three days. Such a stay allows for an appropriate engagement with the diversity of landscape experiences that make up Nature's Masterpiece.
This website was strategically built for convenient on-line booking of unique experiences and accommodation, wholly within the Daintree Coast.
