Solar Whisper

Eco-friendly 1 1/4 hour Daintree River wildlife cruise on a small, quiet, clean solarelectric boat. Get closer to nature; hear, smell and experience without noise and fumes. We glide down small rainforest creeks and explain the amazing mangrove ecosystem and the links between rainfoerst, river and reef. For camouflaged wildlife, we zoom in with ‘Croc Cam’, a digital video camera linked to an on board large screen monitor (just like communal binoculars). Our very experienced guides spot crocs on most tours and other wildlife possibilities such as snakes, frogs, fish and birds.

Wildlife sightings vary depending on tide, weather and season but the scenery is always stunning.
